I like the nice separation with a 1/180 shutter speed while panning. I shot this with a telephoto zoom. Most photographers prefer a prime lens for candid street photography because it's smaller and more inconspicuous, whereas my XF70-300mm sticks out like a sore thumb. However, in a tourist hot spot like Kyoto, it's completely normal to see a foreigner aiming a truck-sized lens all over the place. Despite the pandemic and the crash in inbound travel, the locals still seem completely used to it.
