Next to the private beach at the Hotel Monterey Okinawa is this public area that's great for going on a walk and taking in the amazing scenery...or snapping photos of waves to post on Instagram.
Don't worry, we didn't bother this hermit crab for long. My son soon let it go after taking this shot. But imagine the fright you'd have if you were looking through the crab's eyes!
If I lived along a beach like this, for the first month at least I'd probably go out for every sunset and capture it with my camera.
